Like Record Labels in the 20th century, artist managers are now the “Power Center” of the industry. The artist management session is a “hands on course” The student will choose an unknown artist, and create a strategy to elevate their career from bottom to top in the music industry.

Jimmy Brandmeier has early beginnings as a highly talented musician. He’s worked with artists ranging from Jason Mraz, Avril Lavigne, Joss Stone, Dave Matthews and Sarah McLachlan to Eric Clapton, Wynonna Judd, Carole King, Carlos Santana and Burt Bacharach. Along the way he has created an army chest of connections and networks.
Mr. Brandmeier was President of Monarch Records, a division of Tambourine Inc. in San Francisco. He also served as Director of Artist and Repertoire for Tambourine’s three labels (Unison Records in Nashville and Sugo and Monarch Records in San Francisco.) As Director of A&R, he was responsible for product development, artists and music production on all three labels.
Mr. Brandmeier has also written and produced music for numerous television programs, feature films and TV movies… received a Telly award for his soundtrack to the Christmas special “Almost Home”… written, produced and scored national, regional and local radio and TV jingles. Brandmeier debuted his original song The Colors of Love in a joint performance with legendary artist Jose Feliciano at Carnegie Hall. An accomplished jazz flutist, Mr. Brandmeier’s CDs have found loyal audiences in 25 countries worldwide.
