This 2-day weekend course will provide participants with the basic tenets of the Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance Model (CMP) and offer guided instruction for music educators on implementation of the model in their own classrooms. This workshop is geared toward both teachers with experience in CMP and those who have never attended a CMP workshop. Participants will focus on the five points of the CMP model, engage in some dynamic demo rehearsals, and explore new strategies to revitalize their music classrooms.
