Shelley Hooper began her duties as Program Director in September of 2014 at Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA), Wisconsin Music Educators Association (WMEA) and Wisconsin Foundation for School Music (WFSM).
Prior to joining WSMA, WMEA and WFSM, Shelley was a choir director at Kettle Moraine Middle School from 2004 to 2014. Shelley also taught elementary school music in the Kettle Moraine School District from 1999 to 2002. In addition to her teaching experience, Shelley is also the Director of Worship and Creative Arts at Oakwood Church in Delafield, WI.
Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Music Performance (piano and voice) from UW-Platteville (1995) and a Master of Music Education with Certification (vocal emphasis) degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder (1998). Shelley also earned an Instructional Technology Coordinator Certification from UW-Stout in 2014.
