Learn how easy it is to compose, arrange, edit, play and print professional looking music with Finale v25. Topics include: Score setup, note entry, dynamics, markings, lyrics, transposition, page layout, printing parts and sharing your music. Explore hundreds of ready-to-use worksheets that can also be customized. This course is structured for the Finale beginner or infrequent user with “hands-on” sequential step-by-step instruction.

Mavis Kallestad is a Finale clinician/trainer, music engraver and piano accompanist in the Minneapolis area. She has represented MakeMusic, the manufacturer of Finale, at many state music conventions and has taught hands-on Finale workshops to hundreds of music educators at VanderCook College, Wisconsin Center for Music Education, Minnesota Summer Music Technology Symposiums, and many school in-services. Her textbook, Building Successful Finale ‘Chops’, contains practical step-by-step tutorials to learn how to use Finale to create musical scores and teaching materials. Mavis holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Dickinson State University and is an adjunct faculty member at Hamline University, St. Paul, MN.
