The following downloads of affected selections are being provided to assist teachers in updating their library. Updates & Corrections to the 2016-17 Festival List
While every effort is made to present the WSMA Festival Music List with complete and accurate information, occasionally errors are brought to our attention or clarifications are necessary. The following updates have been been made to the current festival music list since its initial publication and should be honored by all parties involved in WSMA festivals. This list will continue to be added to throughout the festival season.

(SSA Trio & Quartet, TTBB Trio & Quartet)
|The header instructions for these events should be updated to REMOVE the statement, "A student may only enter this event once." |
This rule was changed for 2016-17, removing the limitation. The language in the main rules document now states, "V.C.2: A student may enter a maximum of ten (10) Solo & Ensemble events per district festival. Students may enter the same Regular or Special Ensemble event more than once as long as the selection and ensemble members differ for each entry."
|Header instructions should now read:
Event 1183 & 1283 -
3. For three voices singing 3-part music.
Event 1184 & 1284 -
3. For four voices singing 4-part music.
|The instructions are incorrect. It should state, "Play two mvts."||Suite For Two Timpani (for Solo Timpani)
Play two mvts.
