The second and final installment of Technology in Music Education, this session will focus on moving music from paper to digital formats. Every participant should bring at least one piece that they want to convert to a digital format. Participants will learn how valuable and time saving this topic is to them –and time spent scanning music and working with others and watching others scan and clean music will be incredibly beneficial to all involved. You will leave this session confident in your ability to scan music on your own (provided you have the right hardware and software).
Technology in Music Education two-day series of topics provide insight into technology use in the music education classroom and provide hands-on opportunities to explore applications available to the music educator. Flex time has been built into the workshop to allow for the addition of topics at the request of the participants.
