The Wisconsin Comprehensive Musicianship Through Performance Project (CMP) with the support of Wisconsin Music Educators Association, in collaboration with Wisconsin School Music Association, is thrilled to offer a summer workshop for teachers interested in examining the CMP model and creating teaching plans for their classrooms this fall and beyond.
Held at the beautiful Monona Terrace Convention Center in downtown Madison, the workshop will provide teachers with ample opportunity to observe demonstration rehearsals by master teachers, explore the depth and brilliance of the time tested CMP model, reflect on their own practice, and plan for fall instruction. The best part will be gathering with old and new teaching friends, live and in-person!
The CMP workshop always proves to be both challenging and rewarding for teachers and staff, but most importantly, offers an opportunity for educators to work in community for the benefit of their students. We are excited we have been able to secure this site so we can be off ZOOM and together again.
And the bonus. . . meeting at Monona Terrace will also give participants a chance to collaborate in the beautiful outdoor environment of downtown Madison in the summer! The schedule will include time for off-site lunches, dinners and even a little Madison getaway for the out-of-towners!
