Join WSMA and PBS Wisconsin Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin curriculum writers as they share insight, lesson ideas, and additional resources on the student-led performing groups chosen for one of this year’s new lessons – mariachi with Mariachi Monarcas de Milwaukee. Instructor: Beatriz Aguilar
Dr. Beatriz Aguilar is the Director of Music Education at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses related to music education. Dr. Aguilar has a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She received a MME, a PhD in music education and a certificate as Kodály music educator from the University of North Texas. She has also received a Certificate in Social Innovation and Sustainable Leadership.
