Financial contributions to support WSMA programs should be donated to our partner organization, Wisconsin Foundation for School Music.
The mission of Wisconsin Foundation for School Music is to promote and perpetuate music education in the schools of Wisconsin and to assist in carrying out the educational and charitable purposes of Wisconsin School Music Association and Wisconsin Music Educators Association. WFSM’s goal is to support and increase the involvement of all youth in music education by promoting and supporting programs that demonstrate a significant impact on children’s perception of and activity in music. In addition, we strive to encourage the study of music and music education by establishing and administering scholarship funds.
Wisconsin Foundation for School Music supports all WSMA and WMEA programs including:
- Solo & Ensemble and Concert Festivals
- WSMA High School State Honors Music Project
- WSMA Middle Level State Honors Music Project
- WSMA State Marching Band Championships
- Student Composition Project
- Wisconsin State Music Conference
- Comprehensive Musicianship Through Performance
Your donation can be earmarked for a specific program or be applied to the greatest area of need.
