Join Will Ulrich as he shares how to start a ukulele program in your school: purchasing and maintaining ukeleles, ukulele resources, games, classroom setup, finding performance opportunities, and teaching methods. If you’ve never played ukulele, this workshop is for you.
If you’ve been playing ukulele, this workshop is for you. Learn about chords, strumming patterns, and basic soloing tips. All participants will have access to Will’s entire ukulele music library! This workshop will cover soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles. Baritone ukuleles would have to adapt instruction.

Will Ulrich received his Bachelors Degree from UW-Milwaukee in 1995. In 2011 he earned his Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University-Wisconsin. During the summer, Will teaches the World Music Drumming curriculum across the country. Will has been teaching general music in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, since 1997 at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He also teaches World Music and ukulele at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.
When he is not teaching music, Will enjoys making instruments for the classroom, performing throughout his community, as well as writing and recording music. Will Ulrich facilitates workshops in cooperative teamwork, multiculturalism through music, ukulele, drumming, and instrument building throughout the United States.
