Conference Sessions
- NEW Hip Hop and Jazz Re/sound Lessons – Thursday 10:00 a.m. – Curriculum consultants for the new hip hop and vocal jazz educator guides provide ways to share these lessons with your students.
- Re/sound Celebration – Thursday 11:30 a.m. – A celebration of Re/sound’s successes will feature creators of the project and a musician or two from the Re/sound resources. News of the new social emotional learning lessons, future musicians, and upcoming workshops will also be shared. Come meet the people who made the project possible!
Workshops
- NEW SEL Connected Re/sound Lessons – January 31, 2024 6:30-8:00 p.m. (virtual) Join Cindy Bourget as she shares the new social emotional learning resources created for each of the Re/sound lessons. This virtual workshop will review outcomes, strategies, plan and assessments from several educator guides. Take advantage of this opportunity to work with a WSCA award winning school counselor at this FREE virtual workshop. Registration
- Jazz Re/sound Lessons – March 12, 2024 6:30-8:00 p.m. (virtual) Christine Salerno will describe some of the goals, strategies and outcomes of the new Re/sound jazz lesson. Additional lesson ideas and resources will also be shared from her years of experience in jazz education. This virtual workshop is FREE. Registration
