Join us in Green Bay this summer as we explore the 2019 WMEA Wisconsin Music Standards! This workshop will examine the WMEA State Music Standards and provide an opportunity for participants to see how master teachers design curriculum and instruction in band, choir, orchestra, and K-12 general music. Additional areas of discussion will include the recently added Secondary General, Connecting, Technology, and Use with CMP sections.
But wait….there’s more! After reviewing the WMEA Wisconsin Music Standards, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and design meaningful instruction for your school and classroom. You can look at a piece of music, plan for one class or grade level, and or plan a project-based unit. Ultimately, you will design meaningful instruction that will help maximize your students’ capacities to learn and grow as musicians and individuals.
