The WSMA Board of Directors has adopted the following policy for refunds related to the High School State Honors Project.
- Audition Fee: The audition fee is non-refundable.
- Tuition Fee: If an accepted student withdraws from the project after submitting their acceptance form, a written notification must be sent to WSMA. Refunds will be issued based on the date the notification is received:
- Before May 1: You’ll receive a full refund of tuition paid to date, minus $175 non-refundable deposit and $20 payment processing fee (or when applicable, $100 tuition assistance deposit).
- May 1 – May 31: 50% refund of your tuition amount, minus a $20 processing fee.
- June 1 or later: No refunds will be given.
- Non-Refundable Situations: No refunds will be issued if a student:
- Fails to report to camp, leaves early, or is removed.
- Withdraws after the camp has concluded.
- A student will not be refunded the double room fee for the October hotel.
- Extenuating Circumstances: The refund policy may be suspended for extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the WSMA Program Director with approval of the WSMA Executive Director.
